OK Dear Ones,
I have gone and done it! I have saved and researched and then Dick/grandpa/dad went with me for moral support to buy my new gear! No more point-'n-shoot, I think. My learning curve: I am standing at the bottom of Death Valley and I need to get to the very tip of the summit of Mt. Everest. You may be getting some pretty crummy pictures for awhile, but if I don't start using this...well, I just have to jump in, that's all.
